Yr 7 Athletics

 

The Academy’s year 7 athletics teams had their first taste of competition on Friday 15^th November at the Lee Valley Indoor Cup. With the Year 7 students appreciating the fine tradition the Academy has in Athletics they were all very eager to show that they have what it takes.

 

Both the boys and girls teams produced sterling individual performances, however special mention must go to the below students won their event.

The final team results were just as pleasing with the boy’s team finishing 2^nd and the girl’s team going one better and winning their event. This means that both teams advance to the final back at the Lee Valley athletics arena on the 29^th November.
